All four RapID Surgical RTLS tags interface with the Loc-Node™, which acts as the hub connection point.

SaLT Tag™

Used to track and manage surgical trays and case carts. The Sterilization and Location Tag is designed to go through high temperature sterilization up to 150°C or 300°F.

Tele-Tag™

All the characteristics of the SaLT Tag with the added feature of GPS for tracking surgical trays and equipment outside of the hospital.

Loc-Node™

Communicates via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth low energy with all the Surgical Safety Scanner’s RTLS tags to track location. Powered by 120/240 VC outlet or can be hardwired.

Micro Tag

Enables the ability to track and manage smaller assets within a facility.

Scope Tag

Track and manage flexible scopes through the cleaning process, cabinet storage status, and procedures.

Trays Built

Trays are built from the repository of tagged and non-tagged instruments. An electronic record is registered for the surgery.

Trays are delivered to the surgery suite for the procedure.

Post-op Scan

A post-op scan is performed on all tagged items. A check off is performed of all non-tagged items used. The electronic record is updated.

Pre-Op Scan

A pre-op scan is performed of all tagged items. A check off is performed on the touch screen for non-tagged items. The electronic record is updated.

Clean & Return

Instruments sent through wash station workflow and returned to the assembly area and prepared for use. The electronic record is updated and closed per instrument.
